The 1985 Fendi perfume is a luxurious Chypre Floral fragrance that opens with vibrant top notes of aldehyde, citrus bergamia, lemon, mandarine, green cardamom, cilantro, and rosewood.

Its heart is a floral blend of carnation, geranium, jasmine, woodland lily, rose, cypress, and ylang-ylang, leading to a rich base of amber, leather, musk, spices, tonkin beans, vanilla, cedar wood, oak moss, patchouli, and sandalwood.

This fragrance is classified as a Chypre Floral fragrance and is known for its moderate sillage and longevity, typically lasting between 3 to 6 hours. It was designed to be worn during the winter season and is suitable for both day and night occasions The Fendi perfume from 1985 is a reflection of the era’s luxury and style, and it continues to be a sought-after scent for those who appreciate vintage fragrances

When people talk about Lucien Lelong, they may feel extraordinary that 'What is this brand'? But in fact, this used to be one of the most famous perfume brands in the Western World during the 1930s - 1950s, how proud that Mr. Lelong of his perfumes? He used to say "If there are any women in pairs who want to change their perfumes, they just need to use mine." Also, Mr. Lelong was the teacher of Christain Dior. When people are thinking about one of the earliest perfumes by Dior -- Miss Dior by Christain Dior in 1947 (is the old yellow one, not the sweet and girly pink one that we can find in shopping malls now), they can find some factors of perfumes by Lucien Lelong too. There is a movie which is called An American in Paris which launched in 1951, in the movie, there is a perfume store that sells a lot of Lelong's perfumes. However, because of the passed away of Mr. Lelong, Lucien Lelong cannot be famous enough like the period just after WW2. I truly recommend that everyone who loves old perfumes like me, should get at least one bottle of perfume by Lucien Lelong. You won't be regrated.

When talking about this perfume itself, the first thing I noticed was the long bottle of its design, which seemed quite difficult to carry with me inside the purse. Also as a very rare old perfume, it may be too dangerous to keep it inside the bag without any protection. When shown this kind of vintage perfume should only be kept inside your home. But as a splash bottle, and it is cologne too, it cannot last a very long time on your skin (if you have dry skin like I am), but you can still feel the elegant scent from this perfume that launched around 80 years ago. I feel the moss is the main factor of this perfume, and then there is the pine tree and tobacco. Someone said they smell the fruity scent from it too, but I don't smell any fruity or even sweet elements inside it. Also, this perfume was categorized female fragrance, but I think this is more a kind of unsex or even more masculine perfume due to the tobacco and pine that it expresses. I will keep this buddy in my collection forever and I want more people to know and try the perfumes from Lucien Lelong. After all, as a real big fan of vintage perfumes, I think it is my responsibility to keep these scents survive in this world.
