The iconic bottle features two entwined doves, symbolizing peace, love, and freedom. Created by Francis Fabron in 1948 during the optimistic post-war era, it celebrates femininity with pure optimism. A harmonious blend of floral and spicy notes, with a touch of powdery warmth. It’s not overpowering and leaves a pleasant aura, especially on colder days.

I personally would consider this one of the most classic female perfumes in the world, the time that it was launched was to celebrate the end of World War II, and the original bottle is a pigeon that represents peace, it can remind people of the goodness of peace. The scent is a classic format a strong and dry floral scent, a little bit of warm and spicy spices, and an aldehydes combination. Unsurprisingly, most of the female perfumes during that old time all included less or more aldehydes inside. The old type and the modern type that we can still buy in stores now, I personally think they don't have too many differences, the most obvious difference is the old ones usually were pure perfume, and the type that we can buy nowadays are Eau de Toilette. Also, this kind of extremely strong and old-fashioned scent may not easily be accepted by contemporary women. But considering it is one of the most classic perfumes in the world and if you are a person who enjoys collecting old fragrances like me, buying one old typed pure perfume from it could be a good idea.
